Lee's Custom Tailoring · Master Tailor Jin Lee
Before Your Fitting Appointment
A few minutes of preparation makes the difference between a good fit and a perfect one.
What to Wear
Please arrive in light, thin clothing — a t-shirt and lightweight pants are ideal. Avoid jeans, sweaters, hoodies, or bulky layers.
Style Inspiration
If you've seen a lapel, jacket length, or overall look online that caught your eye — save a screenshot and bring it with you. A photo communicates your taste more precisely than words ever can.
Bring a Garment You Like
If you own a suit, sport coat, or trousers that fit you especially well, bring it along. It helps us understand your preferred fit and proportions firsthand. Helpful comments during your fitting include:
"I like the overall fit of this jacket."
"I prefer the sleeve length on this suit."
"I like this amount of room in the chest."
Weight Changes & Timing
Your body can change between measuring and wearing — here's how we plan around it:
Minor — up to 5 lbs
No effect on fit. Measurements stay reliable for about 3 months.
Significant — 10 lbs or more
Schedule your fitting 6–7 weeks before the event date (especially for weddings), not earlier.
